Message from the Mayor

On behalf of the Town La Ronge, I would like to send my deepest gratitude to all those who assisted our communities during the recent State of Emergency and Voluntary Evacuation.

From Wildfire Management to Northern Air Operations to the Red Cross, we thank all those who serve to protect our communities and to those who assist us when we are displaced.

We send our thoughts and prayers to all those who lost their homes and cabins. We stand behind you and offer our support as communities moving forward. Speaking to many of you, I feel your heavy hearts but share your optimism for the future.

It has been a pleasure working with Chief Tammy and the LLRIB, Councillor Dave Smallwood and Air Ronge and the various emergency and health organizations. A special thank-you to our EMO Vaughn Skogstad on an excellent and professional job well done.

Finally, to the residents of the Town of La Ronge, thank-you for your understanding and patience
